About Us

Briarfield Farm Stays is run by Ronan and Helen Matthews with our three little girls Niamh, Orlagh and Cara. Briarfield is a working family farm, Ronan and his father Alistair breed pedigree Limousin Cattle and his brother Eamonn rears and produces award winning Glenarm Redspark Lamb.

Three generations of the Matthews family live here at Briarfield alongside a variety of animals including our legendary dog Laddie. He's often first to greet our guests and many have wanted to take him home.
